About Umarex USA
Umarex USA markets many air-operated guns that are applicable for training
exercises such as target shooting, room clearing, and force-on-force
scenario training. These training guns include RAM paintball markers,
H&K and Tactical Force Airsoft guns, CO2 air pistols that fire BBs and pellets for target shooting, and blank firing pistols.
Umarex USA is a division of Umarex Sportwaffen GMBH & CO. KG, majority
shareholder of Walther Firearms and German manufacturers of replica air
guns like the Beretta
M92 pellet pistol and the PPK/S
BB pistol. In addition
to its line of training guns, Umarex USA also markets air
rifles for
plinking and hunting, air
soft guns under the Walther
Special Operations brand, RWS .22 ammunition, and the Hämmerli Sport 22SA (22
caliber semi-automatic) rifle.
Umarex USA was formed in 2006
with Umarex's acquisition of RUAG Ammotec USA and the rights to use and
market the RWS brand in the United States. Operations were moved from
New Jersey to Fort
Smith, Arkansas in spring of 2006 where offices, warehouse,
gunsmithing, and shipping operations were established. Umarex USA has
a fully staffed customer service department that
handles product refurbishment, warranty work, and
technical advice. With over 60 years of engineering, gunsmithing, and
shooting sports industry experience, Umarex USA is designed to be a resource
